:aww: No. Yaoi is japanese comics featuring male homosexuality/homoromantics. There are a lot of it here on DA, so if you're browsing other galleries you'll see a lot of it (so I always have my mature content filter turned on, since some yaoi goes farther and depict rape, porn and worse stuff...Since it's a bit difficult to make yaoi with UF or Apo, well, the fractal gallery has been blessed free from it...

I see, I had never heard of it and I dont like these japenese comics anyway, and i certainly dont like rape, porn etc. I never look in those galleries , in fact I seldom look at other things here than fractals, it just takes a lot of time, I know that there are really excellent artists here in other fields too but it is too much. But still there is a kind of language people use here that I dont seem to be able to keep up with...that is ok but sometimes it makes me feel old..;)

I agree, a lot of that stuff is really disgusting, and for me who like Japanese comics it's harder and harder to find something with a good story, great drawings and without all that violence and sex... So I've given up to find new stuff... *sigh*
I love to look at beautiful art in manga style, like this [link] or this [link]

 You're not alone when it comes to new words, I sometimes feel lost, but I hate that feeling, so I google it if I don't know it.

Yes that is nice but I did not see this as manga style, there I see too big eyes , too short skirts etc...I prefer the old style comics of the old world. It is not so much just the words I dont understand it is sometimes a way of talking or making jokes that i absolutely dont get. But no problem, they probably have no idea about holland or so...;D

 Manga style varies a lot from these kids with toilet bowl eyes (chibi) to more realistic looking, my latest manga purchase was one with beautiful semi-realistic drawings, but the narrative style and the details were typical manga. But I also love old comics, like the classic Disney ones, and comics like Tintin and Asterix... I think Dutch humor is awesome, I remember when I broke my ribs while I had two Dutch guests in my house. I think I went around in constant pain due to all the jokes and laughing we had. :XD:

So you think dutch humor is special, well i guess that many dutch people like making a lot of jokes, dont know if there is something like real dutch humor though there are a lot of good humorist on tv, dont know about dutch comics , I suppose they exist but I can only think of Tom Poes en Olie B. Bommel and that is a long time ago....

Yeah, there are some nationalities which are easier to get along with... It's not only me, many of my friends here say the same about dutch humor... And my dutch friends say it's easy to get along with Norwegians... :XD: Yay for having high class;)
