Note me
Hi
Here's this week's show off from the fractal gallery, gossips and news.
The goodies from the fractal gallery
chaos-tika sent me a note about another new artist;
whaddad and indeed he is a find! His gallery is filled of lovely and colourful fractals.
StefaneSouny is a new artist from France and his gallery is really varied from simple abstract works to more complicated fractals.
Go and give them some love
And what's with all those skewed hearts in the fractal gallery recently?
Well, you can blame
and
Those two ladies have made a new group for Ultra Fractal artists, with loads of challenges and parameter frolicking.
Here's the journal with information about the first challenges:
Welcome to the group and our first Challenge!A Warm Welcome To Ultra-Fractal-Redux
It is heart-warming to see so many of you joining this new group, and we have some exciting things planned ahead, so spread the word!
As you will no doubt have seen from our original Home Page information, this group is more than a mere collecting point for UF art. It is also a place for sharing knowledge about the program and how to use it with one another, so that we can all learn and grow together as amazing Ultra Fractal artists! We already have quite a few fractals with parameters added, and our Resources gallery is getting quite a comprehensive collection of tutorials and other things in it. This is a major part of what this group is all about, so please keep them coming!
Below we have the details of our very first challenge, which is two-fold in order to accommodate the skill levels and preferences of the people taking part. At the end of the month once the challenge is over, we would like to invite you to tell us
Better fire up your UF, get some coffee, milk, vodka, acid, mud (insert your preferred beverage) and join the group
Here are some of the beauties made from the starter parameters provided by
showing her famous skewed hearts.

Tired of UF hearts and mushy squishy love? Well, there are some Harlequin works for you then, from the same group's Harlequin challenge.

And last, but not least. If you're frustrated because of your UF doesn't want to cooperate nicely, your hair is frizzy, your Julia is PMSing, your colour palette just looks like the wrong shade of vomit, don't worry this group has also started an Agony Aunt column for frustrated Ultra Fractal artists.
You can read it here:
Announcing our new UF Agony Aunt event!Hello everyone,
We are delighted with the response to our challenges so far and the growing number of members! We hope you are all busy working on your challenge entries for this month, and enjoying all the new ideas and parameters that have been submitted to our galleries - do keep them coming - and don't forget to make notes on anything interesting you may have learned or discovered! We hope everyone will share their insights in a special journal at the end of the month.

Our next idea for this new Ultra Fractal users group is for a mid-month " UF Agony Aunt"* feature that we hope you will all participate in. The idea is to take questions and problems regarding the use of the Ultra Fractal program from members, publish them in one or more journals (depending on how many and how complex the issues are) and invite everyone to submit their solutions and ideas in the comments section of the journal/s. By doing it this way we may discover diffe
The one with frizzy hair, we're sorry, they can't help you with this one, probably you should buy a new conditioner. Or just shave it off.
Remember to note me if you've found an artist you want to be featured, if you want to promote a fractal related activity or group.
gossips are also appreciated. The juicier, the betterUntil next week, happy fractaling
