I have to say this is a beautiful work. The colors look splendid and all the different shapes are arranged in such a way that it is aesthetically pleasing.
The first thing I notice here is the circle on the right. From there, my eyes can move to different places by taking different paths: I can move with the thick horizontal line on the lower half of the circle, or the blue and red squares that are place diagonally upward on the left of the circle.
The more wonderful thing about this is that it looks so simple - the idea itself is simple - but it's actually quite complex. Not only are there sharp, straight shapes, but they seem softened a bit by the circles throughout the work.
I think the relatively empty space on the left is lovely and adds a nice touch to the whole thing. It makes it appear less complex than it is. And the thick horizontal rectangle I mentioned earlier ties everything together.
Overall, this piece is gorgeous! You have wonderful balance (with the combination of simplicity and complexity, straight edges and round edges), a lovely and calming color scheme, and a sense of movement beginning with the large circle. Good work!
I very much like the concept of this one: The shapes and textures are quite pleasing. The 'central' circle is a very nice contrast to the more angular rounded rectangles. The textures add a pleasant amount of depth and give the piece impression of being painted. I also like the stark color changes between each of the different sections. The one thing that I find a little off is the overall darkness of the piece. I think the piece could have been a bit brighter, and that would have made it stand out a little more. There is a bit of color bleeding in a few of the larger rectangular areas, but I don't think it detracts from the overall appeal of the piece.
