This totally rocks, and I just found it - so counts for double bonus !! Adore the shape, which is being deconstructed - looks like it could be some kind of spiral & striped bloom - all viewed in kaleidoscopic journey as a child. The colors are awesome, vivacious and bright - they make you want to hug the image with happy smiles.
What I'm not to fond of is the strength & scale of the background texturing, I would play it down more, maybe find a different blending mode (and even try masking it out a bit), and scale it down to be more fine ...more of a grain ...like sand in memory, rather then visible shapes.
Yey !! for happy childhood and awesome abstraction, which goes straight to my faves now ....
